The HP-16C released in 1982 was the programmer's calculator. (and more specifically the assembler language programmer)
Then in 2023, under the aegis of the Moravia company, a new calculator comes out under the name of HP-15C Collector's Edition which can be started in 16C with an overlay for the keyboard.
In the meantime, in 2015, the DM16L from SwissMicros succeeded the DM16 Silver Edition in credit card format released 3 years previously.
And to all these models are added the PX16C and the PX-Voy version 16C...

Exchanging programs from a "16C" calculator to a Windows or Android emulator is possible, but each calculator and each emulator uses its own exchange format.
It is therefore necessary to manually transcribe the programs because of this incompatibility of exchange formats.

The DM16 programming tool web interface from Swissmicros allows you to generate:
either dumps from HP-16C source programs copied/pasted from the "TXT" list
or HP-16C source programs in TXT from DM16 dumps. Dumps are exchanged with the DM16 using a USB cable and the PuTTY program.

The HP-15 C Collector's Edition calculator offers a VoyagerSave program that allows you to directly connect the calculator started in version 16C via a USB cable and a COM port.
This program allows:
the transfer of the calculator's memory dump transferred to the PC
or reverse transfer of the memory dump stored on the PC to the calculator
